In brief, I received a bachelor's degree in Physics from Columbia College, I then received a Ph.D. from the Department of Physiology-Anatomy at the University of California at Berkeley, was a Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at the Medical School at the University of Bristol, and have been a Senior Lecturer at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School since October 2007. I have published over 40 peer-reviewed papers in the scientific literature, and my 8 grants have brought in over £700,000 (US $1.25 million) for research. Click here to read a one-page biography.
